His musical career began at age five with his Grandmother teaching him songs on her old Stella guitar. Mojo’s skills were honed at family jams and lessons given by his father, “Wild Bill” Collins. While serving in the Air Force stationed in Montana he wrote a considerable amount of material which he would later take to San Francisco with the band “Initial Shock” and together they made their way to play the legendary Fillmore West. Finally signing a contract with the big time rock promoter Bill Graham.
