Recorded in Montreal for Canadian Television at 4th July 1997 featuring Luther Allison (guitar & vocals), James Solberg (guitar), Mike Vlahakis (keyboard), Ken Faltinson (bass), Rob Stupka (drums).
Luther Allison taught himself to play the blues by ear spending many hours listing to records on attending performances at local Chicago clubs. His big break came in 1957 when he was recognized in the audience and called to the stage by Howlin’ Wolf. After having played with the Wolf Freddie King took Luther under his wing and helped him get gigs.
