“Keep It Clean” is Charley Jordan’s most appreciated number, a selection of mildly suggestive traditional jokes strung along on the melodic thread of blues, to which he would add several sequels. The song is categorized as a hokum blues for it’s clever use of double entendre and dance rhythm.
