Junior Wells
At Lonesome Pine
Junior Wells (harmonica & vocals) performs his classic blues at Lonesome Pine in 1987 featuring Doug McDonald (guitar), and Marty Binder (drums).
In teens during the late ’40s Junior Wells began hanging around the bands at Chicago house parties. He joined “The Aces” a band consisting the Myers brothers, and Fred Below and made his first record in 1952 as Little Walter’s replacment in Muddy Waters band. Wells released his debut record as a bandleader the following year.
