Keyboardist-composer Dawn Clement has performed with such notable artists as Jane Ira Bloom (with whom she toured the U.S.), Pharaoh Sanders, Nancy King, Ingrid Jensen, Hadley Caliman, John Clayton, Mercer Ellington, Bobby Previte, and Herbie Hancock.
Clement, who has led five CDs of her own, gained a strong reputation while living in the Pacific Northwest before moving to Denver to teach at the Metropolitan State University.
Her LiveStream of June 19, 2020 is an intriguing improvisation on electric piano that travels through several moods, different grooves and inventive melodic ideas.

Daniela Soledade was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, the granddaughter of a top Brazilian composer and the daughter of a busy guitarist.
Ms. Soledade recorded as a studio singer starting when she was a child, settled in the U.S. in 2003, and has continued to grow as an interpreter of Brazilian jazz, displaying a beautiful voice and very appealing phrasing.
While Nate Najar was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, he is a brilliant acoustic guitarist whose playing (inspired by Charlie Byrd) perfectly fits into Brazilian music; among those who he has worked with are Ken Peplowski, Bucky Pizzarelli, and Chuck Redd.
The combination of Daniela Soledade and Nate Najar performing Brazilian songs is a delight as can be seen and heard throughout their LiveStream from Feb. 19, 2021.
