Gary Burton was one of the all-time great vibraphonists and, along with Bobby Hutcherson, was the most significant vibist since 1960.
The versatile Julian Lage has long been a brilliant guitarist and he has a complementary style to Burton’s.
During this Tiny Desk concert, Burton and Lage perform the jazz waltz “Out Of The Woods,” the lyrical “Remembering Tano,” and the spontaneous medium-tempo “The Tiny Desk Blues.”
