“Soul Train: The Hippest Train in America” is a 2010 documentary first aired on VH1.
“Soul Train” was a syndicated musical variety TV show that originally aired from 1970 to 2006. The show broke new ground for Black artists by providing an unparalleled platform for Black music, dance, fashion, and pop culture. During its 36-year run, “Soul Train” featured artists like Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, and James Brown.
“Soul Train” was hosted by the beloved Don Cornelius, who tragically passed away in 2012.
