Nicki Parrott has long been a very talented and swinging bassist and singer.

She has performed at a countless number of jazz clubs, festivals and parties.

This uptempo version of “You’d Be So Nice To Come Home To” features Ken Peplowski (who is also a brilliant clarinetist) on his cool-toned tenor, pianist John Di Martino, and Parrott.

Unfortunately the pianist is mostly unseen but this clip gives one an opportunity to see Parrott (who also takes a fine solo) as a hard-swinging yet somehow relaxed accompanist during a spontaneous performance
