James Morrison has long been a brilliant trumpeter and trombonist who can play in nearly any style although he is most often heard in swing settings.
The Australian was in South America when he appeared at a concert with the Simon Bolivar Big Band.
Their version of “All Of Me” begins with a touch of Dixieland before the band starts swinging.
Morrison’s solo is filled with stunning double-time runs and he was clearly pleased with the musicianship of the big band.
