Bill Charlap began playing piano when he was three, spent important periods working with Gerry Mulligan, Tony Bennett and Phil Woods, and has led his own record dates since 1993.
Charlap plays solo piano versions of “All The Things You Are” and “Sophisticated Lady” (with a touch of Dave Brubeck’s “In Your Own Sweet Way”) during this informal session made for the radio.
