This jazz-funk masterpiece composed by Herbie Hancock with Paul Jackson, Harvey Mason and Bennie Maupin for the 1973 album “Chameleon” has become a jazz standard.

Before “Chameleon” begins percussionist Bill Summers gives an instrument called an Afro-Cuban instrument called the shekere a long workout in a composition by the same name.
