A haunting rendition of the Henry Mancini song

Sue Raney always had a beautiful voice, from her earliest recordings in the late 1950s through the next half-century.

While she could sing jazz, Raney also had the ability to uplift songs and make them memorable simply by singing the melody with her voice.

From 1987, Sue Raney sings wordlessly on Henry Mancini’s “Dreamsville” while accompanied by Mancini’s orchestra, creating a definitive and gorgeous version.
