At an all-star concert in 1968, three of the top jazz drummers of all time each get to solo.
First Elvin Jones takes a relatively relaxed improvisation.
Then Max Roach comes out and was clearly out for blood, creating an explosive yet very musical solo.
Finally, Art Blakey goes on stage, takes over, and steals the show with his power and authority.
