Hank Jones (1928-2010) was the perfect swing-to-bop pianist in that his flexible style ranged from gentle stride piano and Teddy Wilson-style swing to bebop and hard bop while always sounding like himself.

For this version of “I Got Rhythm” from the early part of the 21st century, Hank Jones plays an old chestnut in a trio with bassist George Mraz and drummer Billy Kilson, sounding both swinging and classy.
