A leading pianist for over 30 years, Mulgrew Miler (1955-2013) was originally strongly influenced by McCoy Tyner but evolved his own individual style within jazz’s modern mainstream.
For this performance, probably from the l990s, Miller (who is joined by bassist Ira Coleman and drummer Mark Johnson) performs a relaxed and swinging version of “I Hear A Rhapsody.”
