Oh, Look At Me Now

Hank Jones

Solo piano from one of the best

Hank Jones (1918-2010) was a significant and very productive jazz pianist for 65 years.

His accessible style (which fell between swing and bop), reliability, ability to always swing, flexibility, and class kept him busy, appearing on a countless number of recordings as both a leader and a sideman.

While Jones was most often heard at the head of his trio, here is a rare example of him playing solo piano as he digs into the mid-1940s song “Oh, Look At Me Now.”
