Dudley Moore (1935-2002) gained fame as a comedic actor (he is great in Arthur) but less known is that he was also a very talented jazz pianist.
In his career he led at least 13 albums plus made a recording in which he accompanied Cleo Laine.
This rare trio performance from 1965 features Moore and his trio playing a song that has a slight resemblance to “I Thought About You”; Moore’s swinging style and ease at playing jazz are impressive.
