A major sensation in the early 1990s when he filled the gap felt by those who bemoaned the aging and passing of most of the male jazz-oriented crooners, Harry Connick Jr. was popular enough to tour with his own big band.

While Connick is a fine pianist, this version of the 1950s standard “Something’s Gotta Give” features him purely as a singer, backed by his big band which includes guitarist Russell Malone.
