While altoist Immanuel Wilkins can play as passionately and with as much intensity as anyone, as he has shown on his recordings, he can also play with great tenderness.

Wilkins is heard in the latter mood on his original “The Dreamer,” caressing each note with affection while joined by pianist Paul Cornish, bassist Rick Rosato, and drummer Kweku Sumbry.

Immanuel Wilkins has his own sound, versatile style, and creative ideas along with the ability to make every note and silence count.
