One of the top jazz harmonica players, Gregoire Maret helps to partly fill the gap left by the passing of the great Toots Thielemans.
Born and raised in Switzerland, Moret released his first album as a leader in 2012 and has worked along the way with such notables as Kurt Elling. Pat Metheny, David Sanborn, Cassandra Wilson, and Quincy Jones.
The harmonica player is joined by pianist Frederico Pena, bassist James Genus, drummer Clarence Penn, and percussionist Levon Maret in 2010 for a modernized and moody version of “The Man I Love.”
