A virtuoso pianist who is never shy to express joy in her playing and her expressions, Hiromi is capable of playing anything on the piano.

In 2024 she toured with her Sonicwonder, a quartet also including trumpeter Adam O’Farrill, bassist Hadrien Feraud, and drummer Gene Coy,

“Utopia” includes some whimsical tradeoffs by Hiromi and Feraud, and some fine solos by Feraud and O’Farrill but the pianist easily steals the show with her high energy, colorful ideas, and pure happiness.
