It’s great to hear Wynton Kelly take the lead on the second tune “The Theme.”
Bill Evans is known for his contributions to “Kind of Blue,” but Kelly’s playing on that album was fantastic artistry as well.
An unexpected turn of event had Coltrane leading the Miles Davis Quintet when Miles was unavailable for this filming.
