The Dutch Swing College Band is the oldest jazz group in the world, having been formed in 1945.

Obviously none of the original members are still with the band but the group has worked fairly continuously for over 80 years.

The 2022 version of the Dutch Swing College Band consisted of trumpeter Keesjan Hoogeboom, clarinetist David Lukács, trombonist Bert Boeren, banjoist Peter Kanters, bassist Adrie Braat, and drummer Frits Landesbergen.

For this relaxed version of “When You’re Smiling” (which does not have drums), the group welcomes the popular New Orleans trumpeter and singer Leroy Jones who is well featured.
