Wayne Bergeron is best known as a top lead trumpeter based in the Los Angeles area whose high notes can really set a performance on fire.

But as he shows during this bluesy piece, he is also pretty handy with a plunger mute.

Joined by the Drew Zaremba Jazz Fellowship, an 18-piece big band arranged by the saxophonist, Bergeron is the main solo star while there are also colorful spots for trombonist Zach Rich and guitarist Steve Kovalcheck

“You Ain’t Got The Blues” is taken from Zaremba’s Reunion album.
