In 1963 Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers first recorded this track on the similarly titled album “Buhaina's Delight.” This piece is a composition by Curtis Fuller, another member of Blakey's Messengers (unseen) who was a trombonist. Many greats passed through this band.
