"Les feuilles mortes"
"Autumn Leaves" is a widely celebrated jazz standard. Originally a song in French entitled "Les feuilles mortes" (which means "The Dead Leaves"), its music was composed by Joseph Kosma and its lyrics by Jacques Prévert. In 1947 Johnny Mercer, an American songwriter, wrote English lyrics.
The song was first released in 1945.
