I don't have any details on this one other than this performance, like so many other in the jazz canon, was produced, performed and recorded in Japan before a live audience.

Makoto Ozone taught himself piano as a child and continued his education formally at Berkelee College of Music.

Ozone has toured and recorded with Gary Burton, Chick Corea, Ellis Marsalis and others.

He has also played Carnegie Hall as a soloist and toured Asia with the New York Philharmonic.
