Herbie Hancock and John McLaughlin pay tribute to pianist/composer Bill Evans playing his original composition "Turn Out the Stars"
Like Hancock, Evans was one of the pianists who Miles Davis sought out for his small groups.
Evans first came to the fore with his work with Miles in the 1950s and played an essential role in creating the tone for the classic album "Kind of Blue."
Personnel:
John McLaughlin, guitar
Herbie Hancock, piano
