The Dave Brubeck Quartet perform "St. Louis Blues" at this 1964 concert in Belgium. The combo featured here perform on Dave Brubeck's classic cool jazz LP "Time Out," which was released in 1959.
"St. Louis Blues" was composed by W. C. Handy in 1914. At the time of its publication, it was the first blues song to find pop success. It remains an essential jazz standard today.
