Otis Spann is featured performing during a 1966 CBS TV broadcast.
Overlooked for his singing talent during the 1950s Chess Records only released one single featuring his vocals “It Must Have Been the Devil” in 1954. Since joining Muddy Waters’ band he spent most of the decade functioning as their pianist before emerging as a soloist during the early ’60s.
