Live at Poor David’s Pub

Leading “The Rockets” since 1978 Anson’s guitar playing blends Texas blues with elements of the Chicago style. Their debut album “Talk to You By Hand” was released in 1981 on the New Orleans Black Top label. Following harmonica player Darrell Nulisch’s departure from the band in 1985, Funderburgh invited Sam Myers to take his place and he remained until his death on 2006. Mike Judge was their bassist form 1989 to 1990, and after leaving the group he created the hit animated TV series “Beavis and Butt-head” and “King of the Hill.”
