Burnt Child & Gonna Move Accross the River

Sonny Terry (harmonica & vocals), and Brownie McGhee (guitar, vocals, & kazoo) perform the song “Burnt Child” followed by “Gonna Move Accross the River” during a 1962 appearance on the German TV show “Jazz Heard and Seen.” Terry & McGhee would remain a popular attraction on music festival circuits throughout the 1960’s. The duo displayed an unwavering dedication in keeping Piedmont blues alive.
