During a 1993 performance blues singer Koko Taylor appears live at the Woodlands featuring Lonnie and Ronnie Baker Brooks (guitars).

From the very beginning Koko Taylor has been both inspiration and influence to countless artists. She was discovered by Willie Dixon while performing in a Chicago club in 1962 and she signed with Chess Records subsidiary Checker Records three years later. Her 1966 recording of Dixon’s “Wang Dang Doodle” reached number four on the Billboard R&B chart.
