Got Sick And Tired
Bukka White
1967 American Folk Blues Fest
Delta legend Booker White (guitar & vocals) performs one of his original blues for Danish TV in Copenhagen during the 1967 American Folk Blues Festival tour. He was first recorded for the Victor Records in 1930 and spent a stretch in Mississippi’s notorious Parchman Farm for assault beginning in 1937. Due to his rough and ragged ways it’s no wonder that he was presumed dead until his rediscovery in 1963 by John Fahey.
