Appearing at the Jazz Festival in Newport, Rhode Island in early July 1960 Muddy Waters sings his hit song “Hoochie Coochie Man” written by Wilie Dixon. The entire concert was recorded and received critical acclaim upon its release as “At Newport 1960” by Water’s in November of that year. It is often cited as one of the first live blues albums.
