Hootin’ Blues
Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee
Louisana Saturday Night
During the 1964 American Folk Blues Festival tour Sonny Terry (harmonica & vocals), and Brownie McGhee (guitar & vocals) perform an up tempo instrumental blues well suited for a dance in rural Louisiana. This well known duo was formed following the 1941 death of Blind Boy Fuller. It was then that Sonny Terry who had played in Fuller’s trio found his best suited musical counterpart in Brownie McGhee.
