Lightnin’s Furvent Releases
Texas blues legend Lightnin’ Hopkins performs two numbers in 1967.
Lightnin’ Hopkins recorded more albums than any other bluesman, releasing at least one album a year throughout the 1960s and 1970s. He toured the U.S. playing at folk festivals, in clubs, and on college campuses. He even overcame his fear of flying in 1964 to join the American Folk Blues Festival in Europe.
