J.B. Hutto (guitar & vocals) performs with his band at the 3rd Annual “Country Blues & Blue Grass Benefit Concert” held in Boston, Massachusetts on April 12, 1981.

The influence of Elmore James is evident in the electric slide style of J.B. Hutto.

In 1975 when Hound Dog Taylor another bluesman heavly influence by James died, J. B. took over his band the “Houserockers” before moving to Boston and forming “The New Hawks”.
