Little Walter tribute

Growing up in Memphis, Tennessee in the 1950s blues harp legend Charlie Musselwhite witnessed the birth of electric blues and rock & roll first hand. Upon arrival in Chicago during the early 1960s Charlie befriended blues men Big Joe Williams and John Lee Hooker who would later be the best man at his wedding. After forming his own band he released his 1966 debut album “Stand Back! Here Comes Charley Musselwhite’s Southside Band” on Vanguard Records.
