Gary Clark Jr. began playing the guitar as a youth in his native Austin playing gigs throughout his teens. until he met promoter Clifford Soon after meeting Clifford Antone, owner of the Austin music club Antone’s, he began performing there with an a variety of renown musicians including Jimmie Vaughan. Clark performed at the 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival alongside legends B.B. King, Eric Clapton, and Buddy Guy.
