Billy Boy Arnold & The Aces
“Billy Boy”
Billy Boy Arnold (harmonica & vocals), is featured performing with his band “The Aces” in 1978.
A Chicago native William Arnold learned the rudiments of harmonica from John Lee “Sonny Boy” Williamson as a twelve year old boy during the early Spring of 1948. The elder blues legend was killed in a robbery soon after. Arnold was given the nickname “Billy Boy” by the Cool Record label for the release of his 1952 debut recording “Hello Stranger.”
