Montreux 2008

John Mayall (organ & vocals) perfroms at the 2008 Montreux Jazz Festival on July 7, 2008 with his band the “Bluesbreakers” featuring Buddy Whittington (guitar), Greg Rzab (bass), Jay Davenport (drums), and special guest Gary Moore (guitar).

The “Bluesbreaks” have been led by British bluesman John Mayall since the early 1960s. Their music served as an influence for young guitarist Gary Moore. Moore whose own style developed after seeing Mayall’s Bluesbreaks at a concert in Dublin in 1969, now takes to the stage with the man that originally helped introduce him to the blues.
