J.B. Hutto (guitar & vocals) performs with his band “The New Hawks” in Boston, Massachusetts at the 3rd Annual “Country Blues & Blue Grass Benefit Concert” on April 12, 1981.
In his electric Chicago style J.B. Hutto shows his versatility by giving a blues treatment to the classic jazz standard “Summertime”.
The original song was composed by George Gershwin, with lyrics by DuBose Heyward for the 1935 opera “Porgy and Bess”.
