*”T B Blues,” perhaps the best known of all Spivey’s songs was written while she worked as a songwriter at the St. Louis Music Company. She first recorded the number in 1927.

*”I Hear the Blues” was one of the earliest British TV programmes to showcase American blues artists. It first aired on December 12th 1963.
