Recorded by Ishman Bracey (guitar & vocals) in Memphis, Tennessee during February 1928.
Ishman Bracey was from Byram, Mississippi born in 1901. Around he started playing at local dances around 1917. Ishman traveled to Memphis in 1928, where he made his first records for Victor in February with Charlie McCoy on second guitar. He was an one of Tommy Johnson’s closest known associates and the pair performed together in medicine shows through the 1930s.
