1991 Jazz Heritage Festival
Earl King (guitar & vocals) appears in New Orleans at the 1991 Jazz Heritage Festival.
Earl was invited to record for Imperial Records in 1960. The resulting sessions featured accompanists Bob and George French, and James Booker.
It was then that he recorded his signature songs “Come On” and “Trick Bag” both of which have been covered extensively by other artists including “The Meters.”
