The song written by Bart Howard in 1954 was originally titled “In Other Words”, and first recorded that year by Kaye Ballard. Among those artists to become well known for their performances are Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughan, Julie London, Shirley Bassey, Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, and Tony Bennett.
