Bobby McFerrin has long been a unique singer, a vocalist who makes the near-impossible seem effortless.

McFerrin also leads the most inspired and hippest sing-alongs.

At the 2005 Montreal Jazz Festival, after talking a bit to his audience (and demonstrating some of his abilities), Bobby McFerrin gets them to sing “Ave Maria” on top while he sings a Bach prelude.

The performance is both virtuosic and heart-warming.
