Pianists Hank Jones (1918-2010) and John Lewis (1920-2001) crossed paths on an occasional basis through the years.

They recorded together in Japan in 1976, made a duo piano album in NY in 1979, and toured Japan in 1979 and in 1993.

The 1993 tour was as part of the 100 Gold Fingers show that featured ten major jazz pianists.

With bassist Bob Cranshaw and drummer Alan Dawson, Jones and Lewis created a gentle but lightly swinging version of “All The Things You Are,” clearly enjoying playing together.
