“Autumn Leaves” stands as a revered gem in the world of jazz standards. Originating as “Les feuilles mortes” in French, translating to “The Dead Leaves,” its enchanting melody was crafted by Joseph Kosma, while Jacques Prévert penned the original lyrics. In 1947, the American songwriter Johnny Mercer provided the English lyrics.

This timeless piece made its debut in 1945.
